Blog Mastermind Review

Oh no I hear you cry, not another membership site!! The rise in membership sites has risen at an alarming rate over the last year which you would think is a good thing right? Information is gold right? The problem is the majority of membership sites that are set up to teach internet marketing and other blogging related topics promise the earth and do not deliver. They are looking for a quick return and in many cases the first month is great then gradually the quality diminishes and you find yourself asking for a refund. The membership site doesn’t care they have the money for your first few months. I think the biggest thing anyone should look for when considering signing up is the reputation of the provider. Do some research the time taken will save you money in the long run.

So to blog mastermind. Firstly the creator is Yaro Starak a blogger from down under in Australia. Yaro is one of the most prominent “bloggers” on the internet so we are off to a good start! When I say blogger I am talking about someone who creates quality blogs and content and not a spam blogger who creates hundreds of spammy blogs just to get a quick buck! So what does Yaro provide you with in Blog Mastermind?

1. The first component is the membership area itself and the resources within. Wow talk about over delivery. There is a ton of audio. Bonus interviews with Yaro and other prominent bloggers and internet marketers. These guys are the real deal not “joe blogs”. Another rising trend is the amount of audio available on the net created to promote a product created by someone you have probably never heard of that actually does not really teach you anything. This is not the case here, they are definite quality. The advantage of Yaro being well known and respected is that the big guns are happy to talk to him.

In addition there are 10 audios created by Yaro that talk about getting yourself set up mentally to become a successful blogger, these priniciples can be applied to any business and I found many of the audios eye opening indeed. There’s more! There are some good audio files that involve answering the most common questions asked about blogging and Yaro must have really done some research as there are questions he answers that would never have occurred to me.

Finally the best part in my opinion. Case studies! There are a whole bunch of case studies of REAL sites that Yaro discusses and gives tips on improving and optimizing to get more traffic, more recognition, more subscribers and…. MORE MONEY!

I did find the navigation a bit confusing at first but once you get used to it it’s ok and you get where you want to go pretty quick.

2. Weekly Lessons. Every week you get a new lesson sent to your email address. When you click on the link within it takes you to a web page containing the lesson. The majority of the lessons have a pdf or audio you can download and also many have additional bonus audios (see what I mean about over delivery!). The lessons take you from a beginner through to expert. I found the early lessons pretty mundane but I have been blogging for a while so if you are a beginner they are great. The last few weeks the lessons have been great in particular the ones about monetizing your blog. In addition there are some advanced lesson that are separate which again are very eye opening.

These are structured very well and Yaro does a great job of taking you from beginner through to advanced level.

3. Blog Mastermind Forum
I was never a big fan of forums in membership sites until I joined Portal Feeder a year ago and realized how much information can be gained from a forum when it is set up correctly as Portal feeder’s is. The blog mastermind forum is another case of a valuable resource. Yaro is very active on the forum which is refreshing so many guru’s set up these sites and you never hear from them again. There is also good traffic on the forum so if you post a question you will get a response pretty quick.

4. This last part would not normally be considered part of the site but I think is worth mentioning. Yaro himself! As mentioned before many guru’s set up sites and then disappear. Yaro has been very responsive to my questions and queries whether by email or on the forum. This is very refreshing and shows Yaro actually believes in his product and cares about his members too, very refreshing.

Well that is the main parts of the membership covered so what is my actual rating of the site?

1. Training. 8/10. The only reason it does not actually get a 9 or 10 is for me the initial lessons were a bit “easy” so i guess if you are a beginner it would probably be a 10.

2. Membership Resources. 10/10 Definitely wanted to give more than 10 as the resources in Blog Mastermind are unbelievable and the only other membership I have seen which compares is that of Portal Feeder. Maybe I should have knocked of a point for the navigation but once you are used to it there is no problem.

3. Price. Initially I thought the $77 tag was a bit high but to be honest once I got into the membership and realized what you actually get the price is a steal considering how little you get for a lot more at other sites.

4. Refund. Well I can’t really comment on this as I am still a member and have no plans to cancel, but considering Yaro’s positive reputation online i very much doubt there would be any problem.

In conclusion if you are interested in becoming a blogger or even if you are already a blogger this site is a good buy. It does not matter whether you are just a hobby blogger or a money blogger the training and resources will improve everything you do with your blogs.
