I downloaded my copy of Marketing Quickies Vol 2 on Friday and thought I'd give you my thoughts. In case you've been in hibernation, Marketing Quickies 2 is the latest release from "guru" Andrew Fox. It is the sequel to the very successful marketing quickies. It follows the latest trend of providing advice and tips via video as opposed to the old standard ebook. I for one am very happy with this new trend as I find it much easier to follow and more importantly easier to implement. The download is very easy to complete and came with some very useful bonus ebooks. You have the option of either burning the cd or just watching the videos from your hard drive. I have actually burned the cd as a back up and have been watching the videos on my pc. They are very clear and concise and well constructed. Andrew Fox has a very good speaking voice so is very easy to follow.
Now for the content of Marketing Quickies Vol 2. As the name suggests the product is made up of a series of short marketing tips. They are all less than 5 minutes in length and there are twelve in total including the intro which gives you tips on getting the most out of the product. Now while the videos are short they do deliver. Not only are they quick videos but for the most part they are very quick to implement. So many of the internet marketing tutorials I have bought take days even weeks to implement. Definitely not the case here.
The fist video is about how to boost your sales and subscriber list using traffic exchanges. Now I have tried a few traffic exchanges in the past with no success what so ever. Andrew shows you the best two programs to use but more importantly shows you the best and most effective way of using them. I'm already having success with this. Next there’s a complete guide to using camtasia to create your own video. I haven't tried this one yet but it is very easy to follow. Next up is a guide to getting loads of testimonials for your website or product. We all know how important quality testimonials can be and this is a great method for acquiring them.
The next video I found invaluable as it shows you exactly what you should be highlighting to attract your customers attention. This was a real eye opener for me as I discovered I had been highlighting completely the wrong thing! He does show you proof of the difference this can make. The importance of tracking your sales is next. He uses the same ad tracking service as I do but I learnt some very new tricks in using it for maximum effect. I think these tricks could be applied to any ad tracking program. Next he shows you how to dramatically improve your profits using an upsell method. This was my favourite video and I'm already seeing positive results from this method and it's only been running for 3 days! The next video shows a really simple change to make to your sales page which takes about 30 seconds to implement. He even gives you the exact code to do it.
The next video shows you a great piece of viral software to increase traffic and then sales, and as always Andrew shows the proof of its effectiveness. I'd always wondered how the "big boys" did this and now I know. Not sure Andrew is going to be very popular with the other internet gurus for showing this one. I've just used this today so have no results to tell you about yet but I'm sure it will work. The next video is the only one I wasn't 100% sure about. It's something you ad to your website which also increases sales. He shows proof so it obviously works but you have to very confident in your product and your knowledge to use it in my opinion. Last but not least of the marketing quickies vol 2 videos is a new twist on the coupon technique to boost your conversion rate. I've used the coupon technique before but again Andrew shows a new method of using it.
So overall what are my thoughts? Well I have to admit I am a fan of Andrew Fox but that aside I do think this is value for money. The current offer price is $97 (I believe the price will go up shortly) and for that you get some real quality videos and techniques that do work. The best thing for me is you don't have to be either a marketing expert or a technical wizard for that matter. Having seen some of the flimsy, regurgitated, ebook guides that cost the same if not more I think this is a winner. Like the rest of Andrew's products it is very easy to follow and more importantly implement.
